What is biodiesel?
Biodiesel is a vegetable oil-based fuel that runs in unmodified diesel engines - cars, buses, trucks, construction equipment, boats, generators, and oil home heating units. Biodiesel is usually made from soy or canola oil, and can also be made from recycled fryer oil (yes, from McDonalds or your local Chinese restaurant) or an other vegetable oil or animal tallow. I don't have any presently, but am considering a ramp up to collect WVO for use in BD. Is there a market in this area for homebrewers? Goal would be for 1000 gal per month total and would sell in smaller quanties. If so, what would the value of the WVO be?
