Found out when you switch to straight oil vs. diesel fuel, the engine runs at lower RPMs and just seems rougher. Also the oil lite was going on everytime I idled. Used a manual throttle to increase the RPMs at idle and now it runs fine. Very gratifying. Tim

Noticably absent from either the New Holland or Case IH lineup a biodiesel approved engines is any Cummins engines. Both tractor manufacturers have Cummins engines in some of their models. It looks like most of the B100 approved engines are European or Japanese. Sad day for us.

Thanks for the info. Another person suggested that I had bought biodiesel that wasn't properly dried. I'm guessing that since you make your own you are confident that you are thoroughly drying the fuel? I don't know what to think anymore. Why do yours and mine and only a handful of others...

I have an 07 CTD. I run B20 regularly and have tried B100 a few times. I get 14-15 around town and 17-18 or a little more on road trips. When I have run the B100, I notice maybe a .5 mpg less difference. My driving habits are too varied to notice much more precise mpg changes. Although not yet proven...
